Default Can some one figure out my SCR & DCR?

I just installed AFR 205's Milled .030 with GM gaskets .056 compressed thickness. Running a TR224 cam 224/224 .563 lift on a 112 lsa. Stock shortblock.

whats the head gaskit bore size, how much do the pistons come out the hole.how much advance in the cam. whats the degree at .006 for thunder racing cams?

i used 50 degree's at .006, with the cam at +4 and -.008 out of the hole and a head gaskit bore size of 3.910 i get 11.05 scr, 8.77 dcr of course its all a estimate till i have all the correct info

hate to hijack a thread, but whats the formula for calculating all that stuff? Id lvoe to know how to do it so I wont have to ask it in the future myself.

i use a compression calc. jrod has a nice on on this forum. i use the one from pat kelley. i like that one the best

probbly in the 10.5-10.7 range dave , the dcr im not sure on . don has the so???are at his house but idk the exact specs for the setup
i know what mines at

i get 11.16/ 8.46 assuming no advance in the cam and a 60cc head.

Chamber is 61cc with the .030 mill.

That cam is a +4 and .006 is 275 (actualy 274.6)

Still confused, but I think I got the SCR 10.84. I'm not sure of the # because I did not know the stock piston & block height #'s.

Ok, with pistons out of the block 0.008 I get 11.06 SCR?

my pistons were .006" out of the block. seems your using the upper end of the range for out of the hole average. hope this helps get a more realistic #.

At .006 it comes out to 11.0 So 11 is safe to assume.
