Default no tach and car won't run

Car is throughing a p0343 cam sensor input high code. I read somewhere that guys were having problems with timing chain sprockets I have a slp double roller you think this is the problem

Check to see if you have a input/senor problem or a base motor problem. Check and see if the rocker arms and valves are opening. Try and access a scanner and monitor crank sensor RPM. Hope this gets you goin'

If the tach isn't working, its probably a bad crank position sensor. I had the same issue and it was an easy fix.

If the cam position sensor used to be fine right before a swap, chances are it still is. High input means its always reading a signal from the sensor. Its likely out of alignment and teh sensor is reading the cam journal instead of the reluctor. I would suspect the double roller pulling the cam (reluctor) out of alignment with the sensor.
