Turbo Camshaft& Max cubic inches out of a 346?

I need help picking out a camshaft for a twin setup, I did use the X1 cam for the first and only run it made. it self destructed and now is in the process of getting bored:), take the good with the bad I guess. I also would like to know what is a good stopping point in displacement with the stock 346. let me clarify that a little, how big can I go with out resleaving the block or would that be a good Idea when doing a stroker motor.
thanks :burn:

If it's a 99 or later block you can go up to 3.910, but you should look at what pistons you plan to run before you machine the block.

I am running some 9:1 Diamond pistons for a 3.905 bore.

I would think that with a turbo set-up you would want the strongest block possible. I would not trust a maxed-bore stock block. I would want a sleeved block. You can get 4.125 or 4.155 cylinders easy. Rumor has it a 4.200 cylinder is possible. There are a number of different stroke crankshafts you can try. Max displacement at this time I think is 471" using a 4.2 bore and a 4.25 crank. This set up will not rev very high though if that matters to you.
