Default Ready to re-install my lifters any special tricks?

Im ready to re-install my lifters, and was wondering if there is any special way to re-install these puppies? I made sure that the lifter that came out is going back in its exact place, but I see oil holes and was wondering if the need to be installed a certain way. Thank you.

i'm not sure , but if i remeber correctly, its best if the hiles on the lifters face the rear of the engine.

The holes can face either direction and it won't make a difference.

A good trick is to let the lifters soak completely submerged in oil for a while before installing them. This will keep them from clacking much when you first start the motor.

sorry about the spelling!
i'm sure it doesn't mattet which way th holes face , but what i heard was an engine builder's trick so the lifters fill up faster.

i also agree on the soaking part.
