ETC vs non-ETC intake on 4.8/5.3
I purchased a non-ETC engine with an ETC intake.
I was under the impression all that I needed to do
was swap the throttle body and injectors. Tonight
I was attempt to swap the TB, and found this...
Does it mean I *do* need to get a non-ETC intake?
I have the non-ETC throttle body and injectors, will
I need to get *anything* else besides just an intake?
Thanks!

Just take some pliers and roll the tube down on the throttle body enough to clear the one on the intake, it will move w/ a little pressure. Then pick up a rubber vacuum cap from an autoparts and plug it off. Plug the hose from the front of the valve cover into the tube on the intake and your done.
And I would stick w/ that intake b/c you don't have to worry about blocking off the EGR port. Good luck.
