where to get locks/retainers for 918's just wondering where I can buy these items at for a spring swap? And how much of course! Erik |
Why not just use your stockers?? If you just wanna spend money here ya go for retainers: http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/cate...MID=1&catid=48 |
yup, stock works fine |
oh ok wasn't sure if the beehives had a different retainer shape or anything... GOOD TO KNOW! Are there any REAL benefits to titanium retainers with a 224 cam/DD carI am on a strict budget and unless the titanium is THAT neccesary, I will stick with stock! |
I would only get the tit. if they cam in a kit I bought or if I was running a bigger cam @ higher RPM's. Other than that, I'd use the stockers. |
No, your stock retainers will work good with that cam (I know from experience :)) |
Stock locks and retainers here too. |
I have some comp. titanium retainers for the 918's that are nearly brand new that I would sell with brand new comp. 918 springs for $270 + shipping. :) |
If you don't already have the 918's I wouldnt get them. They switched manufactuers on the springs and started having problems. http://www.pacracing.com/Street_Stri...Set_of_16.html |
Well, the ones I may buy were bought some time ago by the seller, who never installed them.. Couldn't tell you which ones they are...but good info, thanks Erik |
https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iv-internal-engine/717173-what-hell-going-comp-918s.html Mine were bought in december so I hope they hold up fine. They have ~3-4k on them so far. |
