Un-milled 5.3 truck head = what compression ratio?

maybe at most milled .03 for straightness, what would the compression be around?

Ok, there going to be milled .05 thousands. What compression Ratio?

If you use 5.3L truck heads, they will need to remove a little material from the chambers (around the valve area) in order to unshroud them.

My TEA 5.3L heads have been milled just .003" and the valves unshrouded. That gave them a 63cc chamber

10.8 to 1 CR using stock graphite head gaskets..... And thats plenty with pump gas IMO

50 thousands? Have fun with piston to valve clearance!

I think you mean .005" (5 thousands)
