You might see 370-380 rwhp. Don't count on achieving over 400 rwhp with a hotcam setup even with all your bolt-ons. If you're looking for the driveability of a smaller cam in a M6 go with a cam around 228/228. You'll see better performance in the power band and it won't idle as rough as a hot cam. Just my 2 cents.

I'd stick with your STI...that's a **** ton of boost and I bet it's a rocket of a ride

Yeah try to post a sound clip. It'll be hard to tell what kind of cam it has of course depending on exhaust mods etc but I'll take a listen. Most Hot Cams will lope hard though. They have decent low end grunt but it's not a REAL effective cam in the power band. A good rear end like your 4.10's or 4.11's would be a good choice because it'll really help the car pull. Unlike your STI and other imports that really rely heavily on top end HP these V8 LS1 blocks like the power under the curve that's where they make up their time in the 1/4 and 1/8 mile tracks. Do you plan on running this car as a daily driver or what is your ultimate goal? If you want it to outrun your STI you better be looking at a forged block with a serious cam.

Yeah the twanginess audio from the cell phone makes it hard to tell but it might have a hotcam in it. The low end grunt is not too typical of a hot cam though... There are a couple of LS1 sounds you can compare yours to on http://www.ls1sounds.com/magnaflow.htm that sound and lobe are pretty similar to a hotcam You can be the better judge since you know exactly what it sounds like. Are you just not 100% sure if it has a hotcam in it? Either way for a daily driver a hot cam isn't a BAD choice it's just that there are better cams out there for the application you seem to be making. A cam swap in these cars isn't difficult if you plan on doing something bigger in the future. The bottom end on these cars are good up to around 500 rwhp. However there are the horror stories of people getting "Ye Olde Spun Rod" at ratings much lower than that. For a daily driver though, I'd just leave it be then when you want to make it a project car throw in a forged block with an MS4, swap out your bolt ons and have some fun
