How do you tell how much advance was ground into a cam?

Question How do you tell how much advance was ground into a cam?

Where on the cam report would that be?

If you have the cam card it will tell you..It'll say somthing like 111+2 in reference to the LSA.
If you can get the part number & manufacturer info,you can call them up & they can tell you..Sometimes it's etched into the end of the cam.

I believe that cam to be 224/228, on a 110+4 LSA.

Actually it appears to have been ordered as 223/227, but came out a bit bigger.

Whats the LSA?

LSA - x = ICL

x = Cam advance.

It was supposed to be a 224/228 on LSK lobes (223/227) with 110+0. I'm just trying to figure out if that is what it came out as, or if it ended up with some advance already ground into it.

It's got a 110 ICL, so as previously stated, it has no advance. 110+0. 224/228 is what it came out as.
