Default ls1 rebuild.. What rings should I use

I have several bolt ons and h/c package with built tranny and stall. I have the motor out and tore down to bare block and my friend has a machine shop so its not going to cost me anything to hot tank it, paint the block and hone it and put new bearings in it. I just have to pay for the parts. What would be a good set of rings for the ls1? I want something that is going to hold up and last.

Thanks,
Jeff

Are you boring / honing out larger? If so, what pistons are you using? Many piston manufacturers recommend rings. Otherwise, you might as well just go with the stock rings, as many people are pretty happy with them.

Im honing it but thats it. the walls seem pretty good. Im sticking with stock pistons just wanted a good ring. I thought about moley rings or something like that. Are they good?

If you are staying with a stock piston, I would just run a Mahle ring. We use them pretty frequently and they hold up well.
