XE vs. XE-R with like durations (.050)??? Just wondering/looking for any guesstimates in the HP difference between a XE cam and a XE-R cam... both having the same duration (@ .050)...

) I would say go with the XE, unless you are fighting for every last HP... Obviously there is more overlap (@ .006) with the XE, but I do not think that is a show stopper...

Nice thing about the XE-High Lift lobes are that you can run quiet 918 beehive springs with them if you like. The XEs are great, in fact MTI and Vengeance use them in some of their nastier cams (particularly on the exhaust).
