Changing LSA's? Ok, here's the question. I already have decided on getting the TR230/236. But, I want the car to sound great with a unreal idle. From what I understand, if you go to a lower lsa, it will give you more power at the bottom of the curve, little less at top, and also make the car have more of a "lope". So, should I order the cam with a 111lsa instead of 112?? Or will you even be able to tell a difference by doing that? BTW, I am installing a set of 1 chamber flowmaster dumped at the axles as soon as the cam is installed. Thanks again! Ryan |
Usually the more overlap you have the more it will lope. Going to a 111 lsa will raise the the overlap from 9 degrees to 11. |
yeah the car will have more of a lope |

i have a 112, and, i get looks alllll the time when sitting at a light it sounds like a full on racecar. My duration is +3/+3 compared to yours, but, i still think its gunna be fine. My 112, especially throught my ory and LM1 is nasty enough, I dont even know how much more you could get, My dad runs a 107 LSA through open headers with his racecar, and the difference is not at idle, but at 1500-2000 rpm you can still hear the lope even while driving in his car, ours starts to go away at 11-1300, but at idle, i guarentee you it will be there |
