AFR 205 vs TSP 5.3 2.5 & fast 90/90
AFR 205 59cc, g5x3 114 (already in car), .040 cosmetic, flycut
or
TSP 5.3 2.5 heads, g5x3 114, whatever head gasket needed to not flycut, and a fast 90/90 set up
Keep in mind that I am also running a 100 wet shot of nitrous. What are some pros and cons to each ? Im having a tough time deciding what I want to do, mainly Im trying to talk myself out of flycutting pistons. School me.......

How can you compare a truck head with a custom casting? Now if you want to compare apples to apples how about TSPs Terminators against the AFRs. You get what you pay for.

Im not comparing which head will be better. Im talking about the power of the whole set up. I know that the AFR set up will produce great numbers will power under the curve but what about the 2nd set up ? How do you guys think it will work ?

Even though the AFR setup isn't running the FAST 90 (assuming it's running the LS6), i still think it has the upper hand over the 5.3's. That cam will compliment you either way (more so with AFR's flow numbers though i would think).

This ones a 112 G5x3 , the 114 should have slightly more p/v clearance . Any way the budget heads made strong power and backed it up in trap speeds , corrected the fellas car run around 11.43 @ 125mph N/A with 3.42's probably near full weight , F-body 3,500lbs {without driver} .

I say use 205's not because I have them. I had TEA 5.3's on there before. The aftermarket castings are a lot stronger than stock castings. Meaning they have more material on the deck surface and they can be ported a little further if you ever step up to a little bit bigger CI motor.
My 5.3's had a crack in them when I bought them and they did not catch it the first time I sent them to TEA to be checked out. So it cost me in the long run. I had to take a loss on them and go for the better heads. I was spraying a 150shot on the car also.
The stronger heads will be more reliable for the juice.
Also mine were 58cc's and I used a stock size gasket and had to fly cut a lot. I had the same cam.It was on a 114+4 lsa.
Power wise, I think they will be about the same. But you gain durability!
