How reliable are stock rockers for a H/C?
Just curious if there is much need to upgrade. I'm running out of money but i also don't want to take any shortcuts and end up falling on my face.
My setup:
RHS Heads (210cc)
Comp 230/230 .612/.590 111LSA +2

so im about to put a forged 346 , with ls6 H/C,
i've got 160.000 miles on the rockers and need to upgrade or replace them while the engine is out. what do i need to do to upgrade them? where can i get the longest lasting quality replacements that will last another 200,000 miles??

I thought about doing the same since they are a good deal. But they are having problems with the pushrods coming through the top. Not a good prob to have. The stockers are hard to beat, much better if rebuilt. I haven't touched mine.

I plan on getting some Yella Terra Ultra lites for $390. Its not that much more money versus getting the rebuilt stockers but if you want to save some money they will work just fine.

I dunno TSP told me I dont need rockers.
I have over 89k miles. and I plan on running the head n cam for over 20,000 miles before I get a new engine. Im just afraid because what if I spend lots of time @ high rpms such as at the track, etc...

It really depends on the miles on your engine, when I did my head and cam my engine had 87,000-miles so i went ahead and got some aftermarket Harland-sharp roller rockers 1.7 ratio.
