all new valvetrain i have ticking noise
i had a bad noise in my valvetrain before the head and cam swap its a ticking noise it dies down after it gets about 2,000 rpm but is worst at 1,200 . i changed and put new ls6 zo6 heads and 02-04 cam double roller chain comp lifter, and hardend pushrods, ported ls6 oil pump. i replace everything but rocker arms . im leaning towards changing the length of the pushrods from the stock 7.400 to 7.450 and using yella terra rocker arms . do you think that will help

its normal to hear some valvetrainnoise when you got performance valvetrain.. double springs, roller rockers and more,
but if it starts to sound like a chainsaw.. then you migth need to do something,
my car sounded like a disel chain saw when i drove it the first miles, but the sound goes lower by the miles

As Thule stated, some noise is normal.
If it's a persistant noise, I'd first check PR length. If that's good, I'd consider taking another look at those lifters.
I had a set of Comp 850s fail on me which resulted in a new cam and full set of lifters.
Good luck.
