Default Akward crank pulley movement (VIDEO)

I am looking at purchasing this 1999 vette that has 100k on the motor. The car is in perfect condition but the crank pulley is making an akward movement.

here is a video. Does anybody have an idea what this could be and what would need to be done to fix it?

Link to video

Thanks!

Pulley might just be beat.

First thing I would check is the pulley bolt. If that backed out the pulley might be trash. I would look at the front of the crank to see if that is beat up too. The stock bolt takes a 24mm socket. I bought the ARP and that takes a 27mm.

Thank you for the quick responses.

Where could I purchase a new pulley online?

Hmmm... looking at purchasing. I would let that vette go, be patient.

If he gives the car to you for free I would check out http://www.neweraperformanceparts.com for a pulley.

Why should I stay away from this one? The car is actually in pretty decent condition. One owner and most of the milage is highway miles. It just had the 100k service done as well. Also I am getting it for around 15k
