Default Broke 2nd set of Rocker Arms?

Went to to change my oil, and found my drain plug full of needle bearings again. This is my 2nd set to come apart within 6 months. Car is not daily driven. Anyone got any ideas for me? Its a F13 cam with PRC dual springs and STOCK length hardened pushrods. I plan to dig into it this weekend so I dont know any damage done yet. I did hit the rev limiter hard in 3rd a little while back. Car doesnt seem to be missing or even noisy. Last time it was cylinder #7 that came apart. Could I have collasped lifter maybe?

Did you replace them all the first time or only those that spewed needles? The stockers were designed for much lower spring loads, so if you have miles on them likely no surprise that they are doing this.

i am doing just fine with my stock ones with a MS4 and dual springs. they also have 60k miles. its hard to tell why, but i wouldn't think its a lifter...

If I was you I'd send a extra set of stockers in to Harland Sharp & get them rebuilt/reinforced. It's only like $225 + shipping both ways. Well worth the extra $$.

your stock length push rods could be the culprit with that futral cam. Do you have excessive valve train noise? Maybe you should go with 7.425" PRs

Im gonna check for this now. Gotta borrow a pushrod checker. Valvetrain doesnt seem to be any louder than always

send them to harland sharp to get them rebuilt. they put new bearings in them, and modify them to put c clips on the end that way they wont come out again. Thats what i did when mine spilled. been in for 2 years now no problems. dont believe i ever will have problems with them again.
