I would like to hear from people who have one. I would like to know if this gear drive would maybe set off the knock sensors.

That's pretty awesome. Seems fairly professional, as well, considering the inclusion of oil pump spacers and all that......

Older car that ran these sounded like they had a supercharger or something under the hood, wonder what it'd sound like?

that looks nice. i also wonder what it would sound like

I dont like the idea of only having that one gear on the right side of the engine. I mean, it looks kinda flimsy, all the ones that I have seen all had two, one on each side.

I wonder what kinda rpm's it would be able to withstand, or how much power...

The duel gears are floating that what holds them in place and i had the Pet Jackson gear drive in my old sbc chevy and i had the quite one , you can get it in nosey or quit, From what i see in the LS1 style it bolts up as the cam thust and supports the idler gear .
