had the hot cam which is very similar to the asa cam with cam only thru an auto put down 350.. so with heads and some bolt ons it would be a nice dd setup

That cam is a "baby cam". I doubt you would need to flycut that. Unless you used extremely thin head gaskets and got the heads milled a whole lot

to get 59cc chambers, yeah, they're milled a lot.. and a 226/236 on a 110 I think it is.. pretty medium size. Especially want to check if he went with the bigger valves.

stock ls6 heads are like 66cc's right? or somethin like that

the lift is only .525 on both sides...i doubt youll have to flycut. just do the clay method first w/out head gaskets. if it clears w/out ..you know youll be okay.

you know max lift has virtually NOTHING to do with PTV clearance right? A lot of people seem misinformed on this.

^^ I was just fixin to say that. Duration is what causes P2V clearence issues not the lift. This has been gone over a few times in this forum.

Thanks for the info, but there is no flycutting with this combo. However, i will be taking the ASA cam out and putting in a TR230 this weekend. Wish me luck ha
