Default Question About Fuel Injectors

Here is one stupid question, what are the LS1 injectors stock? Aren't they 28#'s......

Anyways...

My duty cycle for my injectors with my 228/232 .588/.595 cam is 98% So i was thinking that i was going to upgrade to 42#'s. What is a good one to go with? SVO or isn't there one called red top or green top

Thanks

98's were 28lb, 99-00 were 26lb, 01 and later were 28's. I odered the 37lb injectors straight from racetronix. They will flow just over 42 at 58psi.

All above info is correct. I used the Racetronic 37 lbers in my previous car, and I have their 42s and pump in my current car. Depending on what your future plans are will determine which size would be best for you.

FI you would probably need even bigger, but the 42s will be nice with a shot of juice. I'm having no issues at all spraying on top of my heads/cam with my 42s and Racetronics pump. Good luck!

I am in the same boat as you.

I plan on going with Racetronix's 42# Injectors (280) with their Plug and Play Setup for 249.99.

I had a used set of 36lbers from my old GTP sitting around and got 2 extra's from another buddy with a Regal GS for $20. They run around 40 lb/hr at 58PSI. The 36 lb/hr rating is at 50PSI. You can find them all the time on the ClubGP.com board when people upgrade to the 42 and 60 lbers on the 6 cylinder cars.

They are a stock GM injector for the Supercharged V6's and fit perfectly. I went from 98% duty cycle to about 68%
