Default Quick question (cam swap)

I am going to be doing my cam swap here pretty soon and before I really got into it I have a question. I know that all the motors that I have seen have a crank sensor and I couldn't find one on my car. Do these engines have one and if so where is it? I would hate to tear it apart and not be able to get it timed up right when I get done. I know this is a dumb question . . . . but, it is a concern. Any help is appreciated.

the cam sensor is on the back/top of the engine, right in back of the intake,, you dont need to touch it when doing a cam swap, just line up your dots on the cam/crank gear and you will be good

You have one. Its located right above the starter on the passenger side of the motor. No need to mess with it for a cam swap.

yes crank sensor is by the starter, and the cam sensor is behind the intake

i thought he was asking about the cam sensor,, either way you dont need to touch them for a cam swap
