well, since Im NA for now, and wont be sprayin any time soon, make it whichever way is cheapest, which sounds like plastic.

Plastic intakes can be a problem if you have a n2o backfire. Instead of a taco'd throttle plate you have expensive bits and pieces.

Metal wouldnt be suuuuch a big deal heat-soak wise if it could come with phenolic spacers.

Looks like if you don't pass 6200, you wouldn't benefit by this intake. That's right where my dyno graph flatlines as well.

I'm raising my limiter to 7500 this week. Sign me up... I'll take Plastic.

Not sure how the intake will work on a "stock" motor since it was designed as a race intake, and will labeled as such. Both versions should be able to take 20lbs+ of boost easy. Right now,we are street testing and track testing the intake for results.

trucks, never thought about that. Guess I will have to look into that.

Hahah...Yeah, let LOTSOFUN test one out. It looks like most truck guys won't benefit much though since most of the gains are above 6200 like Andrew said earlier.

Do you think these would benefit a blown motor any that isn't spinning much above 6000rpm??

was that 20rwhp gain over the LS1 or LS6 intake?..im interested in one if it's over the LS6..any flow numbers on the intake or a head with the intake bolten on?Finally a decent intake!!!!
Im gonna take a guess and say his 10 second heads cam car was running an LS6 intake before his custom intake.

One more vote for plastic, gotta keep the weight down

Looking at the graph the sheet metal intake had more bottom end and top end. There is a small spot where the LS6 has more hp but thats probably tuning related.

I vote for the plastic... Im using NOS Pro Race Fogger System with NOZsels in stead of the regular foggers ...

Plastic would serve me better.
Same here!! Prices man...Prices!!

Can I get one for use with C5-R heads in plastic? I'm sure sheetmetal could easily be done. Just got a sweet deal on C5-R heads.

It would be nice to have that intake tested on blown & big cube motors.

I don't remember if I posted yet but my vote is plastic, I'd be glad to test it out on my new 422, I would give you a before and after dyno.
