Default heads&cam for LS1?

alright, my buddy has a 00 Firehawk and he's looking to get around 400 rwhp with a heads&cam package. the car is currently bone stock, basically he is looking for a mild cam that won't be a headache to drive on the street. i'm suggesting AFR heads but any input would be appreciated, thanks.

400RWHP is easy with heads and cam. he could probably do it without heads even. If thats all he wants, cnc ls6 heads would probably do that kind of power with even like a 224/224 cam. lots of guys have done it. alot depends on how much he wants to spend too. if im doing a cam, and i have, i like there to be some lope if only for sound. its the coolest sound there is. i have a 233/239 with an m6 and 4.10 gears, and it is completely streetable. i drove it everyday like that for 2 years.

yeah he's not looking to go all out with it, so i guess the less lope the better, howver i'll agree the lope sounds awesome. i expected it would take more than that but then again i'm used to working with an A4 so i guess i didn't take into account that he would need less to get similiar power, anyways thanks for the help man i'll let him now.
