799's or 243's?
 

I got my PRC stage 1 LS6 heads today and when I opened them up they were 799's. I know these are the newer style LS6 heads but are the 243's worth having over these?

They are the same head the 799 is the head from the ls2. But the cast is the same as the 243. They changed cast numbers thats all.

i worked at the dealer, and had to pull a head off a 06 5.3HO for a leak. anyways found one of the heads had a pinhole, and put in the order, and the next day, there was a 243 casting head there to be put on. i thought this couldn't be right, but after checking, there were the same part numbers from GM...
