which cam and gasket for PP 243's ??

I have decided to go with Patriot's 243 head and either the f13 112 or tr230 111 cam. I've heard 11:1 compression is what you need for street use on pump gas (93) Will I need to mill the heads any or use a thin gasket to reach this?? All help appreciated.

I used the Thunder racing TRak cam 231/234 .640/.590 112 LSA, with a .051 cometic gasket with mine, I also use the 243's with the 59cc chamber, static compression is like 11.3 to 11.5, DCR comes out to 8.38 I believe, runs fine with 93 octane, has zero knock and pulls like a S.O.B, should have it dynoed soon.

hope that helps?

230+ duration @050 and use 11:1 min. compression, for best results.

I think you would be pleased with either, TR230 will make a bit more undercurve due to the valve events, FM 13 will pull a bit more on top.
