seriously do 3.73's and a decent sized stall, if its pure street then u have to get these before u do a cam or your car wont be what it should and it wont be nearly as fun as what it can be. Dont be worried about drivability blah blah blah, stalls to big yata yata. Theres no difference if you get a tight torque converter from yank for vig. Then do youre cam after this trust me, and those cams are too small u might wanna go with a 228/230 is size or get that vegence cam cut on a 112.

I know it's not one of your choices, but I did a lot of research and kept coming up with the TR230/224 as a great street cam. I got one and installed it and I couldn't be happier. It makes great power.....and makes for one hell of a street car. It pulls super hard from any RPM and loves the PT4400. I know you said stock stall, but you should really re-consider that. A converter is the single best mod for an auto car, period. You'll only cheat yourself if you don't get one. There are plenty of options for tight street converters. Get the right one, and you won't hardly notice it on a day to day basis...only when you go WOT. And a converter gives you so many more options for cam choice. Just think about it.

does a higher stall make you faster or slower at higher speeds/rpms? i have read both and i can't find a good answer. i have been told the higher the stall the less efficient they are. so, say for example, you are running a midsized cam like he is considering with a stock stall. if two people with the same mods but one has a stock stall and the other has a 3500 or so stall race from 50 mph to 120 mph, who would win? i realize there are variables and such, but with the cars being equal and the only difference is the stalls, who would have the advantage from 50-120 or so?

The one with the stall will win by 4-5 cars.

i see what you are saying. i was just asking because it doesn't make sense to me all the time. my buddy has a built iroc 350. those don't rev quite as high as the LS1's do. his cam rating was up to 5800 rpms. anyways, after he put in his precision 3200 stall he was definatly slower from 50-120. beats me...

Dude, i have the vengeance cam, i bought it directly through them. Thats a bad *** cam hands down. That thing pulls so retardedly awsome. I had a 232/234 .595/.598 112 LSA.... i went to the vengeance cam and was WAYYYYY more impressed with it. If your looking to make it the DD for you... I'd say look no further. Vengeance is by far the best of those choices....
