To keep yall updated! Well since the last time ive been here! I took off one head and cleaned it out 2 days ago! lol i tried to do the other one yesterday but im toooooo damn sick to do anything... im feeling alot better this afternoon so i might just pull the duals off then take the driver side header off to get to the bolts at the bottom of the heads!

i didn't have to pull my headers out, i just loosened the clamp from the headers to the y so it could twist, then just twist it as far out of the way as you can. Its still a little tight, but i can be done and alot easier than pulling the headers out.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if the 243's are from an LS6 and have the hollow intake valves and sodium exhaust, the valves are longer than on an LS1 to compensate for the smaller base circle of the LS6 cam. Would this not require a shorter pushrod?
