Default What's causing parking brake light and ABS inop light to stay on?

A few weeks back i hit some black ice, did a few 360's crossed the double yellow, hit a curb, jumped it and stopped in the woods. Luckily all I need to do is replace a wheel and passenger side mirror and do some buffing. BUT after I turn the car on and drive for about 2-3 minutes my parking brake light and "ABS inop" light come on. They don't turn on right away, but they turn on every time after a few minutes. What would cause this?

Thanks,
Matt

you will need to get your abs scanned to find the problem. my truck does the same thing, but i have been driving it for a year like that. i dont feel like paying 90 bucks for a scan.

it means your abs is not working, you now have normal brakes.
scan it to see what needs to be done to fix it. Mine did the same thing, scan showed my abs module is bad which means it will get tossed and a line-lock installed. then the test for it will be tuned out of the computer.

Could also be a burned out/broken 3rd brake light.
