Here's one for the gurus
 

After taking rockers off and re-installing them 4-5 times over the past two years, I noticed the rocker studs were a little loose even when fully threaded into the stud holes on the cylinder heads. They will wiggle a little when rocked back and forth in the same direction as the rocker movement would be in a running motor.

I figure that over time, the stress on the studs resulting from running high lift cams, combined with less head material due to porting may have caused the studs to flex in their holes and cause the holes to deform and now be "out-of-round".

The holes can be drilled out and helicoiled to create a "like-new" thread for the bolts to grab on to. The question is, how would you go about sealing those threads to keep oil from getting past the bolts and into the intake runners in the cylinder head?

use some formagasket number 2 non hardening gasket sealer.it comes in a tube.
