Default what cams better MS3 or MS4???

i was wanting to know what cam is better and produces more hp?? i have a full bolt on Z28 right now (Auto) i plan on doing heads but i would like to throw a cam in for now... what would be the best one?? Thanks in advance

i go to the track every year but only like 3-4 times.. so not much but im on the street more... i want a aggressive cam that gives me the most hp

i heard the MS4 is only good in the high rpm's . . . thats all i know

ms4 ftw almost 400rwhp with just a cam headers and a lid tune 396/381 with 121k on the clock but get rod bolts trust me

never drove/seen a MS4 in person but ive got no complaints with my MS3. either way they are both definetly aggressive cams. mods and numbers in sig.

MS4 will peak more HP.

MS3 "should" have better low end power. They are both large cams so the low end power is going to be a little weak.

the lower the lsa, the more overlap and the more overlap the more chop...

ok i just got offered a ms3 cam with 2K on it, ported ls6 oil pump, ls2timing chain, and gaskets for $475 plus shipping is this a deal or no?

yes it is.....all you need now is dual spring kit and p-rods and a crank bolt.

That is a very good deal. I have the ms4 and stock rod bolts. Im skating on thin ice.

Your right, I should elaborate. I would rather have more usable power than have it peak at RPM's I wont be in much lol
