TFS 225's...

It would seem that a lot of people are making a lot of power with TFS 225's. Now here is the big question. I am wanting to do a h/c combo for now with a 150 shot on top of it. Will these heads be bad for a stock cube/bottom end LS1? Reason I am wondering is because later down the road I am going to do a 418 ci 6.0L based motor. If this is fine for a stock motor, what about the 235's? I just don't want to get down the road and have to buy a new set of heads to work with the 418.. Thanks ya'll!!!

225's were meant to go with a 4" bore so you should be fine running them as opposed to the 235's. Through the shot you might leave some power on the table with 225's but N/A i think the 225 head is the way to go with a 400+ CI motor. Id say if it were purely a race car the 235's might be the better choice figuring on a large shot, but if you want to perform on the street id go with the smaller head.

So would these heads be ok then on a stock cube/untouched bottom end LS1, and then benefit me more with a 4xx ci motor when I get that done? Will my numbers be good if I set these on my stock LS1?..

E-mail or PM Brian Tooley at TEA. They have run tons of combos with the TFS heads. Brian is very helpful.
