Default Anything better than a G5X3 camshaft for a daily driver?

With all the new technology now available in lobe profiles ect.

Is there anything better than a G5X3 camshaft in delivering
power and driveability for a daily driver?

This is would be for an M6 TA with ETP 210 heads.

I just installed the G5X3 114 LSA cam in my 2001 ZO6. I also have LPE ported LS6 heads milled to 62cc with 2.02/1.57 valves, Mamofied 90/90 intake and TPIS 1.75 headers with the stock Ti exhaust. I haven't driven the car yet, but the car had a slight low rpm, light load surge with the GT1-1 LPE cam (228/242/.630/.630-114 lsa). And since I'm a tuner with Hp Tuners, different spark timing & AFR's were all tried, but I just couldn't eliminate all of the surge.

The camshaft specs will directly affect the driveability regardless of the tune. The 114 LSA and 4* advance of the G5X3 will reduce the low rpm surge. A 112 LSA will cause a rougher idle, narrower power band and increase the low RPM surge.

Just so a search on the G5X3 camshaft, consistent good power and good driveability.

230/232 .612/.595 111+4 LSA
Custom XFI/XE-R

The ETPs are great flowing heads, X3 has too much exhaust split not necessary in your case.

LGM can grind the specs above so you can still buy from them.
If you want PM me i'll give you the specs
