Default lol GM Parts Direct..

12586665 = (LS1/LS2/LS6) Oil Pump is $73 (no o ring)

and the

17801830 = GMP High Volume Oil Pump is $65 (comes with o ring)

my oil pressure is over 40 idle right now with 10-30 going todo H/C soon what pump should I go with? I'v heard mixed stuff like they are the same if thats the case ill get the HV for price and it comes with everything i need

dont need a high flow I got over 40 warm idle.. and 60 cold... with thin mobile 1.. just replacing it for peace of mind nothing else

I think this is a no brainer dude.

Price = HV is the better buy

If pumps are equal = HV is the better buy

If HV pump is better then stock = HV is the better buy

All the parts you need = HV is the better buy

So what are you debating again?

When that pump sucks his oil pan dry he can come to you. GM has already advised against using this pump in genIII non displacement on demand motors.

+4 use the stocker. its more then sufficient.

trying to see the difference... I have seen where its the same and where its not.. I dont need a over nuts one stock pumps are fine unless you go changing clearances and such

If my melling hasn't sucked my pan dry yet, I don't see how any factory pump would come close.

I bought the one from GM parts direct. I think it was the "High Volume" I have about 3k miles on it. No problems so far and great oil pressure. Mine came with a new o ring.

Unless you're going with a deeper pan, I dont see the difference in amount it would take to suck the pan dry. What does having a stroker have to do with it?
