Default My 383 crank/rods into ls2 block?

Hi Guys, i can buy an ls2 complete engine brand new for the right money. Can i put my 4"eagle crank and rods onto the stock pistons that are in the ls2 unit. It would obviously save me a bit of money if i can do this. Thanks.

No you cannot. What kind of rods are they? The rods you have are probably 6.125, so you would need pistons with a shorter compression height. Plus, your rods probably have .945" floating pins.

well he means that you cant use the stock pistons. you can obviously get aftermarket pistons to use with your crank and rods.
