Well, regardless of perfect head and block prep, and spraying the cometic gaskets with the copper spray, and the use of ARP head studs, the cometic gaskets are starting to leak, screw cometic, their gaskets are terrible. wtf. GM MLS's on the way for me

That is interesting. I used to run a high comp atv (14:1 static) and used copper spray on cometics and was still blowing the heck out of them. I've had a bad taste in my mouth about them since...

MLS with Copper spray dumdumdum. 2 coats and let it dry for 15 min. between coats. Let the 2nd coat dry for about 5-10 min and install. No leaks from mine and I'm spraying a 200 shot.

I guess I should've used some type of spray or sealer on my cometics, cause I know for sure they are leaking. I just put them on about 3months ago and it kinda pisses me off cause I made sure my deck surface was absolutely clean. I went over it a couple times making sure there was nothing on the deck surface and heads were just decked so they had nothing on them. I pretty much gave the gaskets no reason to leak and they did. Yeah well, if it starts getting to the point that it lets oil on the floor I guess I get to pull heads off again.
