Can't seem to find info regarding...

the hotcam vs. the ls6 cam. I seem to remember a whole lot of threads used to pop up on a search for this but now nothing? Anyway, i'm trying to find out how much quicker the hotcam is in the quarter and how much more power it makes to see if it's worth the lope over an ls6. Also, what does the hotcam sound like through a completely stock exhaust? I have an electric cutout so i'm wondering if the cam would be noticable when it's closed or if it would still totally lose the sleeper image with the lope. Is the ls6 good on spray like the hotcam seems to be? I'm considering a 100 shot in the future...

Hot cam probably ok for M6 with some tuning but would take more tuning for A4.
2003 Z06 cam ok for A4. Some cars back east have run high 11's NA with it.

IMO with headers at hotcam is noticeable at idle with a stock catback or SS/WS6 catback and more so with most aftermarket catbacks.
