98 LS1's I was wondering if anybody has bored a 98 ls1 more then what GM calls for .004"? I wasn't thinking about going more then .010" just have some deep scratches... Has anybody had any prob's doing this? Thanks... |

I went .005. I think that much will definately make the walls to thin and weak. |
The engine shop I took mine to honed mine .010" They said it was wore .003". I hope it will be fine. They have been building and racing LSx's since they came out, so they are experienced with them anyways. |

.005=max 98 .010=max 99 up as per gm. |
