Need help ASAP!!!
Ok Im installing a set of heads, ported oil pump, and double roller timing chain...Im not sure if the dots are lined up correctly and I sure as hell dont wanna have to take the car back apart if the dots are 180* off...I need some help to make sure i have the dots lined up correctly before i go any futher...so do i need to line the dots up at TDC? Is TDC after the intake valve closes and the piston come up on the compression stroke or what? Im so confused im sure if that makes any sense or not. could someone please help...

Re: Need help ASAP!!!
with the rollmaster you just need to like the dots up. the cam gear dot should be t 6 o'clock and the crank gear dot should be at 12 0'clock. once you have these two dots lined up like this you should be ready to go. you don't need to find TDC or anything like that, just line up the dots. make sure you use the correct crank gear dot, as there are two. one for installing the cam straight up, and one for advancing/retarding the cam.

Re: Need help ASAP!!!
i only see one dot on the crank gear....even if they are both dot to dot the crank gear will be at 12 o'clock twice for every one time the cam gear is at 6 right? therefore the crank could be 180* off? i dont know maybe im wrong.
