New Spring Choice

Just wondering everyones opinion here, I need new valve springs because of possible valve float (old comp 918's for about 3+ year) and was told to go with the patriot golds which are good for 650 lift, but is that overkill or will it hurt performance considering my cam specs are only.....

222/228 .567"/.567" 113-Lunati VooDoo Cam

What are my other chioces for a good valve spring??

Also check out PAC and Manley beehive springs.

No, it wont hurt performance. But it will add safety. And theyre not all that expensive either.

PSI1511ML, that's what Katech chose for their engine builds based on Spintron testing. Excellent beehive spring. Second choice would be PAC 1518's.

We have the new Comp 918 springs on the shelf as well as the PRC Dual springs. Either will be fine for the cam you currently are running. It won't hurt to have a heavier spring than what your cam requires. The PRC's would work for your current setup and will work if you decide to upgrade to a different cam down the road. Let me know if you have any questions or need to check on pricing!
