7.425 or 7.400 pushrods for GM ASA CAM

i did a search, and i come up with guys saying they run 7.425s and the rest sayint that 7.400s is the correct size for this cam, i just want the correct size, plz let me know:eyes:

7.425 here. Because of the smaller base circle of the cam, the longer pushrods help retain the proper preload which results in less valvetrain noise. Mine is very quiet.
You can run the 7.4's. I know a lot of guys that do w/ no problems, but some have a lot of noise from the valvetrain.

I have a similar dilema.
I am looking at livernois ls6 heads. Livernois says to use 7.425" pushrods with their
heads and comp cams. I have a baby comp cam already that I've had in for 5 years with 7.4" pushrods and stock heads. So now am I confused.

I used 7.4" pushrods with my ASA cam.....no problems, no valvetrain noise.
