long or short head bolts?
 

ok im installing ls2 243 heads on my 98 ls1, what head bolts do i need the shorter ones or the longer bolts , plz let meknow

Your LS1 needs the long headbolts to work--GENIV bolts won't reach the threads in the bottom of your block. I can't recall the exact length, but there will be 8 long and 2 shorter bolts per bank.
