Buy new timing chain and oil pump?

Buy new timing chain and oil pump? I blew my engine about 1000 miles after i changed the cam, just put in a brand new ls2 timing chain and ported ls6 oil pump. Hydrolocked the motor, Think i should buy new parts or try to reuse these, going on a 6.0 iron.
