Default Buy new timing chain and oil pump?

I blew my engine about 1000 miles after i changed the cam, just put in a brand new ls2 timing chain and ported ls6 oil pump. Hydrolocked the motor, Think i should buy new parts or try to reuse these, going on a 6.0 iron.

Pump yes, but I would go new on the chain. Not much money and depending on how you locked the motor you may have put some additional stress on the chain.

I might be confused, di you get water in the pump or only the cylinders?
