So you added the LS6 intake? Did it get a good reading on the old butt meter? I would like to know because I was planning on waiting on it but if it is worth the $500 then please let me know. Thanks- Mike.

Yes, I put the cam first, then a week later added the LS6 intake. Definite SOTP increase, but not just on the top end, I also noticed more low and mid-end too. I don't know where your gonna spend $500, but I got mine from a local dealership for $390.

Let's see some dyno #'s so all the haters can flame LG! I've been waiting for today since this was first posted. I'm sure no matter how good the #'s are, the critics will strike.

Jeff Gustafson,

The price of the G5X-2 is $5995. Installed and tuned. If you check with other tuners, not just car repair shops, but tuners, you will find similar prices.
Our tuning is very thurough. Like everything, even LS1 edit tuning is not all equal.
Plus our installation is guaranteed, and you will get the best out of your package when LGM installs it.
We do it in house to insure that the G5X-2 is not mixed and matched with other parts that might not work well with out package.

We will have a G5X-2 package with LS1 heads complete sometime next week. That should show slightly less rwhp than the LS6 cars that we just got 460+ numbers with.

As for this G5X-1 cam that went in this car, I think it will be good number, with good before and after gains And from what I understand the tuning session was cut a little short.

Have a nice night. And be nice to BigSS
