Misfire and I think I'm out of options... time to pull the valve cover?
Long story short:
Installed a Fast 92/92 a few weeks ago and have been enjoying the new power, although I've only gone WOT just a few times.... but haven't re-tuned the car yet... shame on me... I know...
Was on the interstate the other day and heard a slight "pop".... about 10 miles later the car started to run rough.... like it lost a cylinder...
So I took the car to the part store and had them scan it - # 2 cylinder misfire code.
I've put a new plug in # 2 - still misfires.
I've swapped the # 2 and # 1 coils and cleared the code then drove the car until the "Service Engine Soon" light came back one - still # 2 cylinder misfire code.
Disconnected the coil pack plug and coil pack harness, used electrical cleaner and di-electric grease hoping that it could be moisture in the plugs - still misfires.
I've used a multi-meter to check the plug wire and it's good.... should I have swapped the wire to see if the misfire followed?
I also pulled # 2 injector to see if it was clogged.... but it looked clean... should I have swapped injectors to see if the misfire followed?
Time to pull the valve cover???? And if so, what do I look for? A bent pushrod or broken spring??? I bought top shelf pushrods and springs so please keep that in mind...
Thanks for your help guys....

It could still arc. the computer is telling you its that cylinder. Its not like its saying it random. There has to be an issue there I would think. Try looking at it at night and see if you can see it arcing some where.
Also the valve cover gaskets are replaceable so all you would be doing is using your time to look. Take the pushrod out and roll it on a flat surface.
