9# Procharged STOCK 99 LS1-need GM part# for MLS head gasket I know, I know, another head gasket question!
I have a stock 99 LS1 and I am starting to have lifter problems. I am going to be pulling the heads and replacing some parts. I am in need of the GM part# for the MLS cylinder head gaskets. I have done some searches but it seems like the more thread searches I do, the more GM part#'s I come up with. Can anyone help me out?
A member gave me a GM part# 12589227. This head gasket is designed for a 4.020 in. Bore but how is it safe to use it on an LS1 with a 3.9 in. Bore ??
Doesn't GM make a MLS head gasket for a 3.9 in. Bore ?
