Lighest Weight Balancer for LS7 Engine

I am looking for a leightweight balance for a ZO6 Corvette LS7 Engine. I know that ATI and Innovators West have balancers availiable, but I was looking for the lighest. IW told me their balancer is 10lbs. Are there more out there that I am missing???

I used to run the 6# ROMAC Balancers in the old Ford Days, looking for something like that.

How light do you want? The ATI LS7 stock diameter balancer weighs 6.75 lbs. The ATI LS7 10% under drives weighs 4.5 lbs.

Much lighter than the 10% under drive and you wouldn't have one.

A lighter damper raises questions relating to recent timing chain failures. The harmonic vibrations involved are more complex than the Old Ford days.

Thanks for sparking my interest in the timing chain failures....you are correct. My ford engines were either 50oz, 28oz, or sometimes Zero Balanced Engines like the LS. With a 50oz or 28oz I could see the lighter weight balancer being an issue, but with zero balance???? Not sure, but I am not an Engine Specialist by any means....

Is seems that the ATI 10% Under drive would be the best bet at 4.5#.

I just did not want to miss any other brands or styles that might be a little bit lighter.
