L76 intake on L92
L76 intake on L92 Anyone know what you have to changto put an L76 intake on a L92 motor? Do you have to use the car accessories instead of the truck ones, and is there mych of a wiring difference, as I have the L92 harness. I will get the computer tuned when it is in, but just wondered if wiring and acessories wise it would work...Also is the gain worth it?

The MAP sensor is also slightly different. The truck intakes use a clip over the top of the MAP sensor to hold it down but the LS3 uses a bolt in MAP sensor plus its nipple is slightly larger so the truck MAP fits too loose. Although the sensors electronically are the same to make the truck MAP work you need to fab up a small bracket to hold it down and use some o-rings or get crafty making up something to seal it. Either that or buy a new LS3 MAP sensor and go.
