JFM-jr,

Can you take a picture looking into the collector like you did with the merge? Thanks.

There is a velocity spike welded right in the center of the four primaires where they converge. It's real hard to see in the pics.

Thanks for the pics.

ARH did the velocity spike, right?

Whats the port for on the outside of the drivers side collector? 02 sensor? Bung?

I thought 02 sensors are always on the insides of both collectors????

Any reason 1-inch (or maybe just 3/4") can't be cut out from where you see my black lines? Ground clearance reasons.
It wouldn't effect flow at all, would it?

Reason I ask: I look all around my Grot 1 7/8" LT's, and if this 1-inch was cut out of them I'd have alot more clearance and I would never hit the ground like I sometimes do now. Both sides of my LT's can use this cut.

We put them on the outside of the drivers side header for routing and heat issues all our f-body systems are like that. The sensor will work fine on either side

Because they would hit the floor if we made them shorter there. we rarely hear of anybody dragging our systems they tuck up very high.

I'm not following what your asking in the first sentence. And that is the O2 bung on the drivers header

How much space is between the top of the header and the floor pans on the F-Body?

I;m lowered with G2 Super Springs so any help I can get would be nice. I don't really hit alot but I'd hate to mess up some perfectly good NEW headers. If they were just 1/2" to 3/4" higher, I'd probably never hit them.

I guess what I'm proposing is to not have a venturi type velocity collector, just a straight pipe that tapers once right into the 3" "Y" pipes.

A round collector that wraps around the 4 pipes, and funnels down to 3". All brands of LT's taper down after the 4 pipes come together, then open back up to 3".

Has that ever been tested?

Couldnt be more happy with the fit of my ARH 1 7/8. I'll see if I can get some pic's this weekend. I have the ProKit and a newly Installed Iron 408 so the front sits lower than normal for now. Will be changing the shocks to AFCO double adjustable for a better drag setup

Spend the extra dough on good quality header, and a company that takes pride in their product.

Love the headers

WS6 Store ROCKS!

Those look nice. Is the 4" merge an option available to all? I'll have to look into this exhaust setup for my 2000 z/28 project.

I have had these same headers on my car for a few years now, still fit and look great!
here is some under car pics. (My I pipe in 4inch btw) The BMR trans Xmember is the lowest paint on the car, the headers have never scraped.

pic while building the Ypipe
