Default ARH 1 7/8 headers and Y pipe pictures

I got my 1 7/8 ARH stainless steel headers and Y pipe from a local vendor. They sure are nice and the fitment is excellent. These should help my LS2 breathe a bit better. I went to the ARH facility thats right here on Long Island today to pick something up from Nick the owner. Very nice guy and one hell of a BUSY shop. Anyway here are a couple of pictures below. That's a custom Y with a 4 inch outlet and fits like a glove. Quality stuff right there enjoy the pics below

Why is the 02 sensor on the drivers side collector, on the outside? Or is that not the 02 sensor hole?

Also, why does the "Y" come off the collectors and get "pinched" down before they go into the 4" outlet section. Same with the collectors, looks liek they get smaller than the 3" outlet section before going into the section.

the Y-pipe is expanded a little to go over the collectors. The Neck down in the collector area is the merge collector it creates velocity and aids in scaveging.

That merge is not nearly as restrictive as it appears from the outside. The area that looks siamesed does not pinch the 3 inch tubes all the way down the way it looks like it does. Both 3 inch tubes have full outlet into the merge section.

I dont see an issue making power thru this setup. High quality great fitting components.

Those are beautiful.

If I wasn't in California, I would seriously consider those.

Yeah, but you guys in California have medical marijuana and gay marriage that other states don't have. On balance I'd say you guys in California are better off. Headers are a small sacrifice to make for all the other benefits you receive for being a resident of "The land of the Fruits and Nuts".

Actually gay marraige was voted down and is illegal for the second time.
However all the proponents for it are protesting. It's just a matter of time before it passes anyways.

The medical marijuana does apply here, however the federal law supercedes it.

It doesn't sound like we are really better off after all.

With all the above said, I was born and raised here. I can tell you that I am not at all happy with what my home state has turned into. Our stupid crazy emissions is one of the things that I am not happy with.

With our brave new found Obamation who knows what evil lurks in our future.

JFM-jr sorry to get off of topic on your thread.

I have nothing against gay marriage. I ask why stop there? Why not do as is done in many Muslim countries and allow marriage to other species such as domestic animals. More closely to the point is I find it ironic that California allows medical marijuana, gay marriage, gives drivers license and voter registration cards to illegal aliens, but if you put headers on your Camaro they'll find an empty jail cell for you. They've got their priorities misdirected when that happens.

Priorities misdirected is the understatement of the year.

Why do you think it cost more to rent a U-haul going out of california than in ?

Why is it that a state with the 7th largest economy has a budget deficet ?

Why is it that more businesses are moving out than in ?

At the present time me and my female wife are figuring out what state to relocate to.

What would happen if it had a 4" collector just wrapped around the 4 pipes cut off evenly after they come together and meet?

Also, what the port on that drivers side header, is that the 02 sensor on the outside?
