I've been looking too, kind of expensive compared to SBC/BBC blower intakes.

If that means you're considering building them, consider one that mounts a 177. It's smaller and cheaper than the big blowers, it moves enough air to supply a 6.0, and it comes with a ribbed pulley.
Another consideration would be a manifold that mounts the 177 pulley with the truck spacing. Chances are that these would be used with carbs, so strictly a non-emmisions application. The supply of LS1-3 for aftermarket installs is only a fraction of available LQ truck motors. Oh yeah, and the LQ4 motors have a better compression ration for supercharging.

yea i thought about the mini blowers too.. but it just seams there to small to support a l92 headed 6.0 or bigger.. i could be wrong.. but i think they would run outa steam..

Well if you consider it's not intercooled...
And I had a marine 454 with a 177, probably one of the most affordable and reliable marine motors made.
I'm guessing a 5psi 177 on top of a non-intercooled truck 6.0 would easily be a mid range torque monster with an easy 500hp capacity at about half the cost of other options.

I thought the same thing when I priced them out, so I just started to make one instead.

No more pics. This is a BDS 8-71 that I had on a first gen SBC. It has the 3" 1/2 pitch belt. I will be changing over to the 8mm drive since it can handle more power and there are more combo's available than the older 1/2 pitch. I have been working on the crank hub/drive, I'll PM you about what you might have for a drive idea.
